Prince George's County, please show us your Hash Tags!

I am working on getting comfortable with TweetDeck, a Twitter component that allows you to monitor several different social media streams at one time in one window.  But for the longest time, I've been puzzled that Marylanders, or Prince Georgians, anyway, don't seem to make much use of some great Twitter features, including the Hash Tag.  You can follow entire discussions using a hash tag search; you can focus and direct your own tweets to people interested in a particular topic, using hash tags.  Check it out folks!
